There were three key requirements: the platform must be optimized, not crash, and display content stably; the design is to meet KDL goals and objectives to receive good service for a reasonable price.

As regards the technological aspect, we provided the necessary licensed software, compatible media players, and HDMI cables. Further equipping of the offices was completed on the client's side.

To reduce the amount of equipment used, we suggested integrating the Liberty Queue Management System (QMS) into the KatsoTech software. It was necessary to provide a technical solution to the issue and develop a visualization.

We updated the software version. With the new version, the QMS interface can be integrated, and special offers and queue movements can be displayed simultaneously on the same screen. To meet all the necessary design requirements, we worked together with KDL Marketing Director. He provided a brief and a template with preferences regarding the interface.

We followed these preferences in every detail. Finally, we trained KDL marketing and technical support staff. Thanks to this training, the client independently implemented the solution, as required by the terms of reference. It took totally two weeks to complete the project.

We:

  • set up the broadcasting of video files and information from the single management server- added display of queues to the same screen with promotions

  • trained KDL marketing department via remote demonstration calls — instructed on personal account management and connecting different types of content

  • developed a set of documentation for technical specialists. Until KDL updated the process, the first implementations were supported independently

  • reduced the cost of equipment for each medical center: one PC, a screen, and a QMS instead of two PCs, a QMS, and two screens
The KDL network tasked us with solving an issue, as it was impossible for them to remotely manage content on screens in diagnostic centers. At the time of the request, the information from the screens, special offers, and promotions were displayed using a flash drive. Thus, it was impossible to broadcast content at several places simultaneously.

As part of the project, it was necessary to optimize content management and set up remote access.
